3. View the payments on the bank statement
You click the statement to see and process the transactions on this bank statement.
The overview has been split in two sections. The first section contains the details of the transaction on the statement. The second section will be used to process the transactions.
4. Buttons explained
In the section "transaction suggestion" the system tries to match the payments for you. You have a few statuses. If the system could match the payment to one of the open invoices it will suggest the customer name and invoice details (number and amount). If you agree click the green button and this payment will be marked as booked.
In some cases the system can not find a match or can only find a match on a customer. Then you can find the customer and the invoice by clicking on the search button.
The below popup will be displayed. Search the customer you want to add to this payment. If you select the customer the system will also try to retrieve the open invoices. If there are open invoices you can select them and then book the payment. If there are no open invoices you can add the payment to the customer anyway and process later if the customer has a new invoice.
If there are transaction on the invoice you would like to delete, please use the red delete button. This transaction will be deleted permanently and can not be restored.
