PowerPanel supports a few methods to import your domain names from other accounts. In this article we will explain how to import your domains from your SIDN account. You can import your domain names that are registered at SIDN into PowerPanel.
Note: The admin might have disabled this plugin for his resellers. So if the plugin is not available if you have Reseller permissions, please contact you admin / vendor for support.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account (use the menu in the header and choose register). If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
2. Make sure your SIDN account has been setup and connected to PowerPanel
Please read this article how to connect your SIDN account to PowerPanel.
3. Get your SIDN domain report
Now login to the SIDN registrar website: https://registrars.sidn.nl/ After you have been logged on please go to your reports: https://registrars.sidn.nl/dotCMS/login?referrer=/a/my-account/my-drs-reports/ (<- Click this link only if you have been logged on to the website).
you need to download one of the latest reports named "domain handles extended".
4. Go to the domain import option
5. Upload your report into PowerPanel
Click the button "Upload"
Now you see a new popup. Choose the right plugin, SIDN .nl domains and select the report you have downloaded from the SIDN website. (you can upload the zip file).
Click upload and grab a coffee. Depending on the size and amount of domains, this could take a while.
PowerPanel will run the import in the background. You can see the status from the header bar, click on the calendar icon.
If the task is finished it will give a green check icon.
6. Connect domains to your customers
PowerPanel tries to make a match with your existing subscriptions. If it does it will put the domain in the right place. But if it could not match to one of your customers subscription it will put the domain in the list.
Select the domain from the list that you want to connect to one of your customers. Click on the "Link domain" button. You will see the below popup.
You can choose to accept the match PowerPanel has made for you, but you can also select the customer yourself. You can also choose the end date. If you don't choose the end date it will be retrieved from SIDN automatically.
7. Clean up old domains
In some cases domains are in your account the should be already removed. Click the domain you want to delete and click the delete button.
WARNING: If you use the delete option, it will also delete the domain from your account at SIDN.
