Within PowerPanel you can use the Prepaid module. This will give your customers the option to have credit in their account which they can use to pay for your services. This also makes sure your customer need to make payments on front, before the can purchase something. In this article we explain how this work and how you can enable this feature.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account (use the menu in the header and choose register). If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
2. Go to Pre-paid settings
To start offering this service to your customers you will have to enable the prepaid option first. Go to System -> Settings -> Invoice settings and scroll down a bit to look for the prepaid settings.
After you have enabled the module the rest of the settings that are available for the prepaid module will appear:
Minimal pre-paid amount: Here you can set the minimal amount that your customers have to pay to upgrade their funds in their account.
Deposit amount is included VAT: If you want to amount your customers are paying is include VAT switch this option on. If you want to add VAT you can switch off.
Description for invoice: You can set the description line for the invoice that will be generated, if you set this line the default line (which is multilingual) will be overwritten.
Product group: This option is the product group on which you want to have it booked in your accounting software.
3. Auto renewal settings
After you have setup the pre-paid settings you will have a new section in your Debtor settings. Here you can setup the notification e-mail send to your customers.
- Renewal: This is the settings for the moment subscription will get renewed. This will also interact blocking the deletion / switching off the auto renew settings on subscription level.
- Renewal notification: This setting will give you the option how many time before end of expire of subscription will send out to your customers. (customer can alway's switch off notifications).
4. Pre-paid customer dashboard
Your prepaid customers will have now a extra section on there dashboard about the pre-paid status and settings.
In the settings your customer can manage his prepaid settings.
