The Zendesk plugin gives you the integration of the Support Widget (More info about this on the Zendesk website). In this article we explain how to use and setup this widget.
Note: The admin can have disable this plugin for his resellers. So if the plugin is not available if you have Reseller permissions, please contact you admin / vendor for support.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account (use the menu in the header and choose register). If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
2. Go to the plugin marketplace
Click in the left menu System --> Plugins
Find the Zendesk plugin and click the install button.
Now you have to enter your Zendesk Web API key. Read in the next step how to get this.
3. Now logon to Zendesk admin panel
- On the left click "Widget" option in Channels menu
- Click add widget
- Now select your brand (if you have setup any)
- Click save, and your widget has created.
Now you get some code you suppose to add to your website. In the last line there you can find your API key. View the below image so you have an idea where to look for. Copy this key (Without the quotes and past it in the Plugin settings)
In the widget settings on your Zendesk account you can choose the options you want to enable, currently supported in PowerPanel:
- Contact Form
- Chat
- Help center
- Theme color
- Position
- Button text
- Contact form text
4. Have your customers enjoy the comfort of not having to search your KB anymore.
