As promised PowerPanel is fully white label. There are several options you can edit and manage. One of the most powerful option is the realtime PowerPanel internet address editor. You can choose your own internet address for PowerPanel. Beside this you can setup white label URL options for your customers. You can choose the URL on our free branded PowerPanel subdomain. This is https://mypanel.mypp.io. Or you can add one of your own domain names and SSL certificate and activate a URL and it will look like this: https://cp.myhostingcompany.com. Off course PowerPanel has secure connection so you need to activate a valid SSL certificate. In this article we explain how to use this.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account. If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
There are two Branding options. One for the PowerPanel control panel and one for the integrated Webshop. Let’s start with the CP branding!
There are six sections on the page CP Branding.
2. Section 1: CP Branding
The first section contains the basic settings.
Display name: This is the name your customer will see in their browser and in the panel.
Website: Enter here your website adres (use the full URL). Also this will used to show your customers your website.
Support URL: Enter here your website support adres (use the full URL). If the user click on support or help buttons this address will used.
Support phone number: This number will displayed also on the support and contact information.
Support e-mail: This email address will displayed also on the support and contact information.
Terms and conditions URL: Enter the URL where your T&C can be downloaded.
Privacy policy URL: Enter the URL where your PP can be downloaded.
General Data Protection Regulation URL: Enter the URL where your GDPR processor can be downloaded.
Force condition to accept when logging in: This will force a prompt for your customers on logon if the have one or more legal stuff not accepted.
3. Section 2: Localization settings
In this section you can setup the localization settings.
Timezone: Setup and al date and times will converted into your local timezone (the system saves al date's on UTC date & time, so it can bee easly converted to your local time)
Currency symbol: Chose the currency symbol you want to use in the system and webshop.
Note: We are supporting al major currencies, if your currency is not listed, please let us know and we can add it within 1 working day.
4. Section 3: Send e-mail settings
In this section you can setup the system mailler settings.
System mailer: This is the global switch to enable or disable sending e-mail from PowerPanel to your customers. If you have disabled no e-mail will send out.
Default sender e-mail address: This is the e-mail address PowerPanel will use for the sender address.
Note: Make sure the sender address is an active mailbox, do not use no-reply address. E-mail will bounce and PowerPanel will not send out email anymore.
Default sender name: This is the send name PowerPanel will use to send e-mail from.
Send termination mail: If PowerPanel can not remove or cleanup any subscriptions, it will send a notification to you. If you don't want to receive this notification you can disable it here.
5. Section 4: Upload your logo & CSS
At the second section you can upload your content like a logo or a background for the logon screen. You can also enter and edit your custom CSS. This will loaded before the main CSS files so you can overwrite the default CSS settings in PowerPanel. We have an sample CSS file attache to this page, download it on the below.
Tip: Recommended sizes for the pictures are:
Header logo: 210 x 45 px
Logon logo: 350 x 75px
6. Section 5: Setup your CP web-address
In the last section on this page, you can configure your own PowerPanel address. You can choose your domain and create a free URL or choose your own domain and upload your own SSL certificate to have a more white labeled PowerPanel.
Note: It is important you have create the correct DNS settings before activate the CP URL. Otherwise the system will not allow you to save the custom URL.
IMPORTANT: If you use your own URL (domain name) you need to create a CNAME record in your dns zone that points to our address: cp.powerpanel.io.
In case you need to create an A record: 52.211.19.240.
7. Section 6: White-label domain for your resellers
Now you see the section where you can configure the white label PowerPanel address for your customers. Choose the domain name you want your customers to use. Make sure you have a wildcard SSL certificate loaded because your customers can create subdomains on the domain you choose. In the example below your customers can create addresses like https://company-a.yourpowerpanel.io and https://provider.yourpowerpanel.io. If you don’t want to use this option, leave it blank.
Note: If you don't use this, your resellers can not use the free option on creating CP URL
