You can add hosting addons to your hosting plans so that you can sell them with your hosting plans. In this article we explain how to create this.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account (use the menu in the header and choose register). If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
2. Add new add-on
Go to Sale -> Plans & Pricing -> Hosting Add-ons to add new hosting add-ons. You can click on the add button to add a new add-on.
We have a few hosting addons available with some logic behind the plugin like the spamexperts plugin, you can install this by simply going to the plugin marketplace and install the plugin with your credentials. If you have enabled the plugin it will appear in the list when you add a new addon.
After you have added the add-on you will see the same settings as with creating a hosting plan.
Important settings for displaying the add-ons in your webshop:
- Activate: This is main switch. If this has disabled, the plan will removed from all options and is not usable for new customers (existing plans will remain untouched and still keep working). So make sure if you have this add-on linked in one of your plans, keep this switch on active, otherwise it will not visible.
- Show on plan details: Enable this option, the add-on will showed in the plan settings in your webshop. It will marked with green or red icons to indicate it s included or not. This setting depend on on the settings included in hosting plan or not.
- Sale: If you want to up-sell this option in your hosting settings, switch on. If you swithed off it will not possible to order this option later on existing websites.

After you have created your add-on you can add it to a hosting plan. Go to the settings of a hosting plan and look for the add-on screen:
Here you can activate the add-on. If the add-on is enabled here it will be automatically included in the order of your customer. If you don’t enable it, your customers can order this add-on in their order process.
All the available plugins are visible at the hosting package detail view.
If a hosting add-on is green, the add-on has a subscription for the customer. If it is grey then the customer can buy the add-on.
