You probably have a few websites on your server that you connect to PowerPanel. If you connect your server to PowerPanel these packaged will be retrieved from your server. You can read how to add your server to PowerPanel on the following support items:
The next step is to make sure all websites are linked to your customers in PowerPanel and the correct hosting plan has been setup.
1. Login to PowerPanel
First you need to login to PowerPanel. If you don't have an account you can create an account here. If you need help to login to PowerPanel, please read here how to logon.
2. Go to site conflicts
If you have successfully connected the server to PowerPanel you can find the sites current on the server back in the site conflicts. Go to Hosting -> Site conflicts to view all the sites PowerPanel has imported for you.
Note: Only websites will displayed in here where not subscription has linked already in PowerPanel. If you have added websites by hand to one of your servers, the will visible in here.
3. Now link the website to a customer
Click on the website you want to link to one of your customers. PowerPanel will try to find the possible solutions for you. So there are three senarions possible on the moment you click the website:
- There is already a subscription active in PowerPanel. So you can link this website to the existing subscription.
- Choose the end date and choose the billing periode. Only if it needs to change (this information is pulled from the subscription details already)
- Click "round up" and you have solved this conflict. - The used domain has already found in PowerPanel. There is no subscription for this website, but the domain is already in PowerPanel.
- Now the customer is already know, choose the hosting plan, end date and billing period.
- Click "round up" and you have solved this conflict. - The website subscription and also the domain name are not found in PowerPanel. The website is completely new in PowerPanel.
- So first search the customer you want to create a subscription for.
- After selecting the customer you can choose the hosting plan, end date and billing period.
- Click "round up" and you have solved this conflict.
4. Delete used website.
If you have website the are no longer in use, you can use the delete button. This will delete the subscriptions from the server.
Warning: If you are using the delete button, all data will be deleted from your server, so please be careful.
FAQ 1: I'am using Plesk and the website I want to link is not in the list, why is this?
Please make sure you have prepare your Plesk server like we have describe in here.
FAQ 2: I have added website by hand to my hosting server, but the are not in the list, why is this?
- Go to the server details in PowerPanel you hare added the website: https://cp.powerpanel.io/hosting/grid/servers
- Now click on the "start sync" button you see on the right of the details page.
Note: After you click this button, PowerPanel will run a background task an will get al information from your server. Depending on the amount of data and website this is a very intensive task and takes time. It's normal it could take 10 till 20 minutes on large servers. Because of this you can only start this taks every ten minutes.
